Wolverine Teaser Poster Online
Hugh Jackman looks sketchy

29 October 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Latino Review

If you haven’t sated your thirst for new Wolverine imagery thanks to our exclusive images and chat with director James Mangold, then you’ll be no doubt happy to see this teaser poster arrive. Have a look below.

The new image is an impressive one, drawing Hugh Jackman’s titular hero in classic Japanese brushed ink style. It’s basic, ballsy, and would look good hanging on a wall. Frankly, we're feeling increasingly optimistic about this one.

Plot-wise, The Wolverine takes Logan to Tokyo, where he falls for the mysterious Mariko and becomes embroiled in a brutal gang war. But that’s not all that's bothering the every-grumpy central hairball. “The ideas of immortality reign very heavily in this story and the burden of immortality weighs heavily on Logan,” Mangold told Empire. “For me that’s such an interesting part of Logan’s character that is nearly impossible to explore if you have a kind of league or team movie." The film itself arrives on July 25.

For all the Wolverine coverage you need, make sure you sprint to the nearest newsagent or bookstore and pick up a copy of the magazine, on sale now with five – count ‘em – exclusive Hobbit 3D covers available to choose from. Or you could save yourself a run and get it on the iPad in UK or US format.

But if you still need more, Jackman and Mangold did a live chat today to talk about their hopes for the film. Check that out below.
