Hitchcock, as you’ll no doubt know by now, finds Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren playing the legendary director and his supportive, but still punchy wife/partner Alma Reville.
Though Psycho has long since become a classic of the genre, the aging auteur had a real struggle to make it, with no studio willing to touch it, various cinematic censors swearing it would never see the projectionist’s light and the world at large wondering if he was past his best.
Scarlett Johansson is the buxom Janet Leigh, destined to become one of cinema’s most iconic victims and the cast also includes the likes of Jessica Biel, Michael Stuhlbarg, Toni Collette, James D’Arcy, Danny Huston, Ralph Macchio and Kurtwood Smith. The film makes its way into UK cinemas on February 8.
Hmm,I dunno.
I'm getting ever so cynical with regards to adaptions nowadays, rether its Comic book-Characters/Heros or Novels.
Hitchcock is a great no doubt but I fail to see the point of this Biopic when one can just read the book, which no doubt will have much more depth and information which the Film will likely miss :rether its a good biopic film or not information is generally lost due to time constraints, which Books don't have. RE: Dodgy
Looks like it could be a lot of fun - Hopkins has a pretty good attempt at the accent, too. More

Dodgy
Hopkins is a fantastic actor and I'm sure he will be great as Hitchcock, however his make up and prosthetics look pretty dodgy... Does anyone else agree? More

Looks like good fun. Hopefully along the same lines as Ed Wood. More
