With Halloween shrieking towards us, it’s naturally time for the various scary movies releasing around this time to start trying to startle cinemagoers into seeing their wares. The latest to try is Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, which has put a new motion poster online. Check it out below.

The star of the freaky moving image is Red Pyramid, just one of the terrors awaiting Heather Mason (Adelaide Clemens) and her father (Sean Bean).

They’ve been on the run, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn't fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by horrific nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she's not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her forever.

Directed by Michael J. Bassett and featuring Radha Mitchell, Malcolm McDowell, Carrie-Anne Moss and Martin Donovan among the cast, Silent Hill: Revelation arrives in 3D on October 31. Which is conveniently spooky. Check out the latest trailer below.
