If you’ve gotten your paws on the latest issue of Empire (or have seen people mention it on our Twitter feed), you’ll know that we think rather highly of Rian Johnson’s latest, brain-itching sci-fi thriller Looper. So we’re happy that another clip is online, even if we do have to contractually warn anyone wishing to stay pure that while this is a tiny snippet, you might want to skip it.

If you haven’t seen any of this scene already, that might be because you also skipped the trailers: this diner confrontation between the young (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and older (Bruce Willis) versions of central hit man character Joe has been in more than one of them. But here you get to see them trade insults and confront the problems of time travel in unadulterated fashion.

There’s not that long to wait now until Looper reaches these shores; it arrives on September 28. Then we’ll all be able to enjoy the likes of Gordon-Levitt, Willis, Emily Blunt, Jeff Daniels, Paul Dano and Garret Dillahunt in a tale of time-jumps, gunplay and lots of running around.
