New Hobbit Picture Of Thorin Oakenshield
UPDATE: Now with extra added sword

Update: There's another picture of Thorin scurrying about the internet, and here it is for you below. This time, you can see more of his sword, which makes sense, seeing as it comes from CBSwords.com.

Orcrist - Sword of Thorin Oakenshield

It was Thorin Oakenshield's birthday yesterday – well, technically it was Richard Armitage's but they look so similar – and, being a friendly bunch, The Hobbit's crew has posted a smart new portrait of the man himself on the movie's Twitter feed. It's a high-class birthday bumps.

Feast your eyes on that mighty mane. Aside from boasting one of the finest beards in Middle-earth, Armitage's dwarf is head of the Company of Dwarves that will accompany Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) on his epic journey in Peter Jackson's trilogy.

The diminutive posse will be heading across perilous lands like The Misty Mountains and Mirkwood in the hope of winning back the Lonely Mountain and liberating the gold that lies in its bowels.

Find out if there'll be many happy returns for Thorin and co. when The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is released on December 14.
