Latest Trailer For The Impossible Online
Tsunami drama gets new promo

Though the trailers for Orphanage director Juan Antonio’s tsunami drama The Impossible have been all Spanish language previously, the full English version of the promo is online and can be seen below.

The Impossible is set around the events of the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami and is specifically based on the harrowing true-life experiences of one Spanish family. We’re introduced to Naomi Watts and Ewan McGregor as parents with a brood of three boys on what looks to be an idyllically happy Thailand holiday. But then they’re literally swept away and separated by the massive wave, and must try to find each other in the chaotic aftermath.

Somehow, hearing McGregor, Watts and the kids without being dubbed – not to mention the haunting cover of U2’s One by Damian Rice – gives this one even more power than previous, already effective spots.

The film is being lined up for a premiere at the Toronto Film Festival and will be on our screens from January 4 next year.

RE: Really don't need to see the film now
I could not finish watching the trailer, but not on the emotional basis more on the fact it looks painfully rubbish. More
