Second Lawless Trailer Arrives
Shia LaBeouf has crime in mind

08 July 2012  |  Written by James White  |  Source: Yahoo

Those durned Bondurant boys, always causing trouble. At least they’re keeping it limited to screens, and in the new trailer for John Hillcoat’s bootlegging drama Lawless. Take a look below via Yahoo.

Boasting the sort of cast most filmmakers would sell their grandmother for (Tom Hardy, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Clarke, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska and Noah Taylor), it tells the story of the real-life Bondurant brothers. The charismatic but criminal siblings ran wild in Depression-era Franklin County, Virginia, but didn’t count on some real competition from Pearce’s eyebrowless, freaky special agent and the powerful gangster (Oldman) intent on getting a cut of their business.

With a script from Hillcoat regular Nick Cave and enough old-timey action to make a History Channel addict wet themselves, Lawless is out in the UK on September 7.

If you’re looking for more, check out the excellent feature on the film, available only where Empire is sold in magazine form. But for those who like their publications digital, there is the iPad version in UK and US editions.
