New Ruby Sparks Poster Debuts
Banderas! Bening! Dano! Coogan!

Here's a rather stylish poster for new comedy / romance Ruby Sparks. Let's see: it looks indie, what with the colour scheme and carefree young things and big block lettering and bright pink*. But it also boasts a host of star names, and is directed by the pair behind Little Miss Sunshine. Check it out for yourself below.

The film sees Paul Dano as a young novelist suffering writer's block. His therapist (Elliot Gould) advises him to write about his dream girl, which he does. He's rather surprised, however, when she turns up in his apartment fully-formed, and already in love with him. Ruby, for tis she, is played by Dano's real-life girlfriend Zoe Kazan (It's Complicated, Happythankyoumoreplease).

Ruby Sparks also stars Antonio Banderas, Annette Bening, Chris Messina and Steve Coogan, and is due to hit screens in October. Now if you'll excuse us, we're off to write a romance...

*Look, since Drive, bright pink is cool again. Do keep up.
