Expendables 2 Character Posters Blast In
Sly and co dominate the web

27 April 2012  |  Written by James White

Much like the current trend for trailer teasers, another popular marketing idea is spreading character posters into the winds, headed to every corner of the Interwebs. The team behind G.I. Joe: Retaliation did it last week and now it’s the turn of Sly and the family stone The Expendables 2 cast. Check out all the pics in our gallery below.

Promising that “this time it’s personal,” the new film finds Barney (Stallone) and his group of old and not-so-old soldiers gathering together for another mission at the behest of Mr Church (Willis). It would seem to be an easy payday, but one of them doesn’t make it out alive and soon the rest are swearing to deliver some bullet-riddled, explosion-filled payback. But they also have to tackle an even bigger threat, one that could change the balance of power in the world…

The images come courtesy of (deep breath): Ain’t It Cool (Sly), Hitfix (The Stath), Cinema Blend (Jet Li), JoBlo (Dolph Lundgren), MTV (Chuck Norris), the movie’s Facebook page (Terry Crews), Fandango (Randy Couture), Moviefone (Liam Hemsworth), Yahoo Movies (Jean-Claude Van Damme), Collider (Bruce Willis), Alliance Films (Arnie) and IGN (Nan Yu).

With Simon West calling the shots, the film will be out on August 17.

photoshopped much???
woah! Willis looks like an egg, Sly looks about 40, JCVD looks like a wax work (what's new?) and Arnie just DOES NOT look like that anymore. Also, anyone who really can't be arsed hitting the gym like Sly has a big coat on (hang your heads in shame Bruce and Arnie). And Norris looks one of those 1980s Action Man soldiers with the full beard - or maybe it's just that he looks as much of a twat as he always has done. Anyway, the first film was a right old mess but who gives a shit? Let's just h More
