Spider-Man Webslinger Specs Online
Peter Parker's glueprints are here

26 April 2012  |  Written by Phil de Semlyen  |  Source: Evolve Through Engineering

One controversy that touched Sam Raimi's Spider-Man franchise involved the webslingers. In short, they were a little too biological for some Spider-Man aficionados; there were no actual devices that would have satisfied comic book purists. As we know, Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man is getting back to basics on that count. Mechanical webslingers are the order of the day for Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker, and, as this new viral demonstrates on Evolve Through Engineering shows, they're grounded in real science. Well, movie science at least. Don't try this at home, just to be on the safe side.

If you're looking for another Spidey fix, you'll find the trailer and a job-lot of pics from the movie here. If you're looking for an even bigger Spidey fix, The Amazing Spider-Man will be swinging into cinemas on July 4, 2012.
