First Look At Rose McGowan As Red Sonja
In the Robert Rodriguez-produced remake

25 July 2008  |  Written by Olly Richards  |  Source: Yahoo, MTV

Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan will be promoting their remake of lady warrior curio Red Sonja, which will be produced by the former and star the latter, at ComicCon, but two posters for the film have already turned up. One is very eye-catching and quite stylish, while the other is extremely odd and makes McGowan look like she's had the misfortune to suffer a stroke at exactly the same time that her hair takes on a life of its own and tries to devour her. We're not entirely sure her boobs, which are racing toward her chin, aren't complicit in the attack too. It's all most unfortunate and enough to put her off her snack of blood.

Look at the posters below and see if you can guess which one we think is the good one (click for bigger).

Acting, whats acting got to do with it?
Its a movie about a scantily clad warrior chick in the Time of Conan,as long as the violence is fun who cares. More

RE: Sounds good, except that
L: hu Rose McGowan CANNOT act. sp; Oh come on, she was the best actress in Charmed by a mile.......   *considers the acting ability of the other actresses in Charmed*   .......ok doke, you may have a point.   The original Red Sonja movie is a guilty pleasure of mine. Didn't know anything about a remake before today, and now I've realised that Rodriguez isn't in fact directing I can't say I'm overly excited by it. Unless it gets good reviews the bes More

Awesome (Not Crap) Posters ! (Well the First One Anyway....)
Those Posters ROCK! A close-up of Rosie-baby in all her 'Force 10 Gale' hair, her tongue delectably tasting some poor unfortunates 'red stuff' from her trustee sword looks DAM Sexy to me! (Perhaps she's just decapitated Brigitte Nielsen for being a total Nut Job..). The 2nd one is run of the mill stuff but hey at least I got a look at Ms. Mc Gowans boobs and tongue in the first one ! Let's hope Rodriquez gets this an '18'/'R' Certificate....Promising. More

I had no idea this was in the works! Rose McGowan as Red Sonja - ctually a fan of the old Red Sonja with Brigitte Nelson so I hope they do the 80s 'classic' the justice it deserves.   The poster with her kneeling on the piles of skulls is a good as the sword licking one is bad More
