Before we get started, Man On Wire is not a sequel to the Denzel Washington/Tony Scott death fest Man On Fire so don't get the wrong idea.

It is in fact an intriguing documentary about what was dubbed "the artistic crime of the 20th Century".  In 1974, tightrope walker Philippe Petit attempted a daring, but highly illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City's World Trade Centre's Twin Towers. Some called him stupid, others called him crazy - we think he might have been a bit of both.
