Snow Angels Trailer Online
Kate Beckinsale & Sam Rockwell top drama

04 January 2008  |  Written by Olly Richards

The new trailer for David Gordon Green's Snow Angels, which you can see below, gives a little too much away. But you shouldn't let that put you off.

We're not going to tell you anything more about the plot, because we don't want to fill in any gaps that you may have left from this first look, but we will say the following: This won't be for everybody. Those who like it will probably love it. If you base your opinion of Kate Beckinsale's acting talent on her parts in Hollywood movies and not her earlier indie work, then let this change your mind. This adds further proof to the argument that Sam Rockwell is one of the greatest living character actors. Olivia Thirlby, also in the glorious Juno, needs to be introduced to Judd Apatow. It's not a cheerful watch.

Er, IMHO, that didn't give much of ANYTHING away. I do think Sam Rockwell is amazing, though. And thank God Beckinsale is making an effort. It's been a while...about bloody time! :D Also, that girl snogging Michael Angarano at the end - is that Olivia Thirlby? She's very pretty! Looks familiar, too. More

Looks rather good, so long as it stays clear of Hallmark territory. More
