Shannyn Sossamon Takes One Missed Call
With Ed Burns in the horror remake

28 July 2006  |  Written by   |  Source: Variety

We’ve previously reported about Warners remaking the Japanese horror One Missed Call, which sees a young woman receive mobile messages from her own murder.

Now we have a screaming face to put to that girl – Shannyn Sossamon, who appeared in The Order and A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger and 40 Days and 40 Nights with Josh Hartnett. She’ll play a college student who has to try and cheat death, Final Destination-style.

Helping her out will be Ed Burns, who has just released yet another tale of men bonding and talking about women with The Groomsmen. Eric Valette’s directing Call right now in Atlanta.
