Slipstream drags in more cast
Anthony Hopkins' new film

14 June 2006  |  Written by   |  Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Anthony Hopkins has well and truly set his casting hoover to full power for Slipstream, his latest directorial effort.

Not content with already nabbing Christian Slater and Aaron Tucker, Slipstream has now attracted the attention of no less than seven actors. Roll call time! John Turturro, Camryn Manheim, Arrested Development’s Jeffrey Tambor, Law & Order’s S Epatha Merkerson, Fionnula Flanagan, Thirteen Days' Christopher Lawford and Michael Clarke Duncan will all make an appearance.

The indie comedy follows an actor cranking out his first screenplay, who is drawn into a confusing vortex where time, dreams and reality blend together in a McFlurry of confusion. Or, you know, something.

Sir Tony cranks his cameras next week in LA.

Still hoping for a remake of the Mark Hamill Sliptream. Maybe the Mr Hopkin's film is about the writing of that screenplay. I can hope. More

Sounds like two
