Alba Takes A Bill

With word that Lindsay Lohan has dropped out of Bernie Goldman and Melisa Wallack’s previously announced indie Bill, we’re happy to report that Jessica Alba is heroically stepping into the breach to play the sexy saleswoman who helps Aaron Eckhart’s disillusioned lead get his life back on track.

Bill sees Eckhart as a depressed, world, weary soul whose existence gets even worse when he discovers that his wife (to be played by The 40-Year-Old Virgin’s Elizabeth Banks, who also just signed on) is cheating on him.

Wallack and Goldman are kicking off shooting the film on Thursday in St Louis, Missouri.
