Anna Faris Loves Mama's Boy
Joins the Jon Heder comedy

24 April 2006  |  Written by   |  Source: The Hollywood Reporter

Anna Faris is becoming quite the in-demand comedy actress with the success of Scary Movie 4. She’s joining the cast of Mama’s Boy, playing the guitar-twanging love interest of Jon Heder.

Heder plays a slacker whose easy, breezy life is threatened when his mother (Diane Keaton) falls in love with a motivational speaker (Jeff Daniels). The previously announced film has a script by Hank “Saving Silverman” Nelken and a megaphone slinger in the form of shorts director Tim Hamilton. Oh, and it has a shooting start date of mid-June in Los Angeles.

Faris has just finished a stint on My Super-Ex Girlfriend, starring as Uma Thurman’s nemesis and is currently at work on indie drug comedy Smiley Face.

RE: More work for this woman please!
L: Revstar It's not her fault the movies sometimes suck, but she does what she does and does it well. I spent most of Brokeback waiting for her cameo and wasn't dissapointed. Guaranteed scene stealer! sp; who was she in brokeback ? More
