Bride & Prejudice director steps in

There was a bleak time there (okay, it was a couple of weeks, but still) where the world wondered if anyone would be found to take on the awesome challenge of directing the Dallas film.
Now one brave soul has stepped up to the challenge of replacing Monster-In-Law’s Robert Luketic. That hero is Gurinder Chadha.
Yes, the director of Bend It Like Beckham and Bride & Prejudice will bring her ensemble expertise to the Ewings.
She’ll step in to negotiations with the likely cast – which currently includes John Travolta, Jennifer Lopez and Luke Wilson, but we don’t yet know if she’ll overhaul the script. |
