Luketic leaves movie adaptation

Robert Luketic, who had been given the job of directing 20th Century Fox’s Dallas movie, has woken up in the shower to discover it was all a dream. For unspecified reasons, the Monster-In-Law helmer will no longer be tackling the tale of JR Ewing and co.
No word on whether this means the cast – including the likes of John Travolta and Jennifer Lopez (who joined mostly to reunite with her Monster director) – will also find new projects. But it has already prompted the company to detach Dallas from its original US release date of 10 November and leave it dangling in release limbo. Watch this space for news of when it might actually come out. |
