‘Taches at dawn gentlemen: George Clooney and Vince Vaughn are battling over who will get to play Magnum P.I. in the silver screen upgrade of the Tom Selleck telly favourite. Clooney’s endearing eyebrows are currently favourite for the role, but Vaughn may have the inside scoop. "The scriptwriter is Rawson Marshall Thurber, who wrote Dodgeball, and there are several other guys on the Magnum movie with connections to Vince," an insider states. "George is still favourite but, as time goes by, Vince's name will be thrown up more and more." And how utterly charming that sounds.

I think thats what being Magnum PI all boils down to!!! I would have loved T.S to reprise the role but its not to be. I wonder if they will even have Magnum with a moustache though? More
