Split Decision
Boll slices up Dungeon Siege

27 October 2005  |  Written by

Because we know that you can’t go all week without another Uwe Boll story, how about this: Dungeon Siege will be released in two parts. Seeing that a multiple-part release can work for the likes of Peter Jackson, Boll has decided that his video game adaptation (full title? In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale) will now hit the United States in two chunks, on 3 November 2006 and 1 December 2006. No word yet on whether it'll be likewise cut for us Brits.

Boll is describing the film – which stars Jason Stratham, Ray Liotta and Leelee Sobieski – as “a huge epic adventure” and was worried that cinema owners wouldn’t accept such a big film in one chunk. So he’ll slice it in half. He’s also started a company, Event Film, to release the movie.
