Spottiswoode To Film The Spire
Swapping The Sixth Day for Salisbury Cathedral

Roger Spottiswoode, director of Arnie cloning thriller The Sixth Day will be coming down to earth for his next project The Spire. Based on a William Golding novel about the construction of the spire on Salisbury cathedral, the film is quite a departure from the high-tech action of The Sixth Day and Tomorrow Never Dies. “It couldn’t be more different,” Spottiswoode told Empire Online, “we’re going to be filming in Salisbury for about six weeks next year – I’m casting at the moment.”
