Two New Clips From Racing Documentary Road
Rev your engines and step this way

After last week's trailer, we have two exclusive new and contrasting clips from documentary Road for you today. If the roar of motorbike engines is your bag, you're in for a treat with these two snippets of a film that focuses on two generations of Northern Irish road racers. This first clip, from the film's opening, does a little scene-setting and features Liam Neeson's mellifluous voiceover explaining just what road racing is and why it's more dangerous than, say, knitting.

The second begins with a split-screen look at Robert Dunlop and his son William, stepping onto the track for the North West 200 twenty years apart, and then features actual racing around the Portstewart, Portrush and Coleraine course. Brace yourselves for some terrifying moments.

Road hits UK cinemas on June 11 from directors Michael Hewitt and Dermot Lavery, and also focuses on Robert's brother Joey Dunlop, another legend in the sport, and Robert's other son Michael. There will be a Gala Screening on June 11 in Leicester Square, with Michael and William Dunlop and John McGuiness in attendance. You can get tickets to that here.
