Nic Cage Drives Angry In The Rage Trailer
His daughter's been taken. What's an ex-criminal to do?

Nicolas Cage? Nicolas RAGE, right? Eh? Anyone? Fine… The new trailer for the distinctly Taken-esque Rage has arrived online, featuring The Cage as a man on a desperate mission.

Rage, which was once called Tokarev, finds Cage in pulpy thriller mode as Paul Maguire, a former criminal who is trying to put that life behind him and stay on the straight and narrow. But his daughter Caitlin (Aubrey Peeples) is swiped from home and Paul must track down the people responsible.

So far, so Bryan Mills, but the twist comes with Paul’s dodgy past, which means that there are any number of suspects who could have snatched his daughter, and that the police, including Danny Glover’s detective, are keeping an eye on our hero to make sure he doesn’t break the law. So how is he to save Caitlin?

The likes of Peter Stomare, Rachel Nichols, Max Ryan and Elena Sanchez also populate the cast for this one, which has yet to secure a solid release date here or in the States.

Your Comments

After hearing good things from Cage in Joe and The Frozen Ground, this just seems like another turn down the 'just picking up a cheque' route. Maybe it could be better than Taken. More
