New Guardians Of The Galaxy Stills
Universe, meet Star-Lord!

Remember Cheers, about a bar where everybody knows your name? We reckon Peter Quill's Star-Lord in Guardians Of The Galaxy dreams of that place, since no one seems to have heard of him in his own haunts. Still, at least the Chris Pratt character becoming more familiar to viewers, with a couple of new stills of his full costume online courtesy of director James Gunn and Geek Exchange.

Star-Lord is, of course, a human taken from Earth as a child and raised by the scoundrel Ravagers, led by Michael Rooker's Yondu. His title is self-bestowed and perhaps somewhat unearned, but with luck his team-up with allies of convenience Drax (Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana), Groot (voiced by Vin Diesel) and Rocket Raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper) will help him up the ladder of fame, or at least infamy.

The film also stars Lee Pace, Karen Gillen, Glenn Close, John C. Reilly, Peter Serafinowicz, Benicio del Toro and Djimon Hounsou, and hits our screens on August 1.
