New Trailer For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Now with added Turtle power

Producer Michael Bay, director Jonathan Liebesman and the rest of the team behind the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film clearly feel that the way to deal with reservations about the look of the titular characters is to release a new trailer that shows more of them, in the hopes that it might assuage concerns. Judge for yourself…

The Turtles, brought to life this time via performance capture (also the case for their rat mentor, Splinter), will go through the motions of their origin story once again, albeit with some tweaks to the familiar story. Exactly what those are have yet to be disclosed, but we do know that their background is tied more closely to the scheming businessman played by William Fichtner, who takes on the guise of Turtle nemesis Shredder. Also involved is plucky reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) who becomes a staunch ally of our heroes in a half shell, despite early reservations based on their looks. She might not be the only one…

With an eclectic cast that also includes Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg, Alan Ritchson, Noel Fisher, Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Abby Elliott, Jeremy Howard and K. Todd Freeman, this latest outing for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle team is out in the UK on October 17.
