New Godzilla Viral Site Goes Live
Try not to poke the monster

It’s all gone a bit Wikileaks over at Godzilla HQ. The movie’s Facebook page has published a link to a site purporting to patch into the Monarch Surveillance Archives that opens up classified documents / marketing materials related to Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s Lieutenant Ford Brody.

Clicking on this link opens up some scratchy videos and assorted deep background factoids - Godz and ends, if you will - into one of the movie's protagonists.

Brody, of course, is a navy office and bomb-disposal expert whose dad, Joe Brody (Bryan Cranston), is a physicist hell-bent on finding out what happened when a Japanese nuclear power plant went up in 1999.

What happened, we’re guessing, involves a giant scaly sea-bastard with a tail like a howitzer, a mouth like a mortuary and a mind set on destruction. How much destruction? All of it.

Find out when Godzilla lands in the UK on May 16. For a full trailer deconstruction, watch this Gareth Edwards trailer breakdown below.

It looks too good to fail so far. But so did Prometheus... More
