Empire's New Tom Cruise Cover Is Here
We celebrate the legend of our lifetime

Tom Cruise is a force of nature, an actor who has sustained his career across three decades now at the very peak of his profession. During the last 25 years, he has appeared on more Empire covers than anyone else, and with his new film Edge Of Tomorrow approaching cinemas, we chose Cruise as this month's cover star and the subject of a career-spanning interview inside.

Inside the magazine, Cruise talks us through a career that has seen him work with Stanley Kubrick, Oliver Stone, Steven Spielberg, Sydney Pollack, Jack Nicholson, Paul Newman and virtually everyone who's anyone. Of his upcoming film with Doug Liman, he says, "The alien invasion is simmering in the background. It's kind of Back To The Future. I love movies that ask, if you did have to live your life over again, what would happen?"

Since the film sees Cruise's character killed about 200 times (his director's estimate) he should get a chance to find out.

Also in this issue, we look at Snowpiercer, The Other Woman, How To Train Your Dragon 2, Game Of Thrones' fourth season, Seth MacFarlane, Transcendence, Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes and much more. It will hit shelves both physical and digital on Thursday March 27, so make sure you get your hands on a copy.

I'm not a mega Tom Cruise fan but I do like him. He has had some great performances. But I really love this cover as it is a breath of fresh air. I'm happy to just see an actor as themself on the cover. The last time that happened was Megan Fox, five years ago (to the month as it so happens.) I would be very happy to see more covers like this! Glad I'm not alone! Gawd, he looks soooo smug on the subscriber cover (well, both covers)! I can't decide whether to keep it or not... would it spoil the collection of all the 25th year covers!? So gutted I subscribed too late to get the Cap America cover. Oh woe...! More

Tom Terrific
I think Empire did a great job on choosing Tom for a cover story. Although I haven't seen all of his films, I have seen enough to know that he is someone with a very unique range. I love you Tom Cruise. Keep up the amazing work! More

Good call
A completely justified decision well done Empire. He's the guy everyone loves to hate but there is no doubt to his huge and deserved impact on modern cinema. For every duff movie he's made 10 great ones. Top gun, jerry McGuire , born on the 4th, minority report, mission impossible to name just a few very different movies that showcase his charisma and range. More

No.
I always by Empire... but not this month. I'm not sitting on a train looking like I'm reading some poor OK magazine knockoff. Seriously... what are you lot up to? Get a grip. More
