Cuarón Explains The Themes Of Gravity

Ahead of Gravity's Blu-ray release, we have an exclusive clip starring Alfonso and Jonas Cuarón, explaining the themes of the film for any of you who missed them. In case you were wondering what the story of an astronaut lost in space has to do with you, watch the below and wonder no more.

 

Proof, if proof were needed, that the director and his screenwriting partner didn't just throw this stuff together, and that the reason Gravity has connected with audiences around the world is that there are real-world applications to all Sandra Bullock's orbital ordeals.

The Blu-ray, 3D Blu-ray and DVD release of Gravity comes on March 3, the morning after the Academy Awards where it's up for ten Oscars. It's also up for 11 BAFTAs between now and then, so expect to see quite a few clips from the film at all the most glamorous occasions between now and March.
