3 Days To Kill Trailer Shoots In
Kevin Costner is gunning for retirement

Can you balance an action-packed life as a secret agent with a family? Based on what we’ve learned from the movies, the answer is usually no. Still, Kevin Costner thinks it might be possible in the new trailer for 3 Days To Kill, online via Yahoo.

Costner is Ethan Runner, a spy trying to wind down his career and reconnect with his wife and teenage daughter, Zooey (Hailee Steinfeld). After promising to be done with the spy game, Runner agrees to watch Zooey while his wife is away on business. But when he is taken mysteriously ill, a former colleague (Amber Heard) offers Runner a cure, if he agrees to do one more job. Runner must take out an international terrorist or be killed by his illness, and he's still got to make sure Zooey finishes her homework.

Yes, we’re in Luc Besson territory here, with the producer scribbling a new action script, handing over to another director (in this case McG), and hiring someone looking to goose their career (Costner).

Costner certainly looks like he can handle himself, and there’s able support from Amber Heard as his hotshot fellow spy. Could it be more entertaining than, say, Taken 2? There’s no set release date for the UK yet, but chances are we’ll find out when the movie arrives next year.
