Trailer For House Of Cards Season 2
Things are getting medieval

If you like your politicians Machiavellian and your plots labyrinthine, boy do we have a treat for you. The trailer for season two of Netflix House Of Cards is online, and it promises yet more sinister machinations by Kevin Spacey's Frank Underwood and his almost equally tough wife Claire (Robin Wright). Have a look below - but if you haven't seen season one, beware spoilers!

Series one, for those who haven't seen it but are less spoiler-phobic, sees House Majority whip Underwood manoeuver himself into the Vice Presidency of the USA after being overlooked for the Secretary Of State role. He's assisted by an ambitious young reporter, Zoe Barnes (Kate Mara), whose ruthlessness initially seems a good fit for his own. Later, maybe not so much.

House of Cards' second season will be available to stream in its entirety on February 14, so maybe cancel your Valentine's Day plans or build it in now. After all, the couple that plots together stays together, right?

absolutely brilliant
first season might just be the most enjoyable first season since well, maybe even the west wing. I just thought the whole thing was flawless. Spacey hasn't been that good in years. And the second season looks just as tasty and - quite wonderfully - even more dark. More
