New Knights Of Badassdom Teaser Online
Thy wait continues

The publicity campaign for fantasy / horror / comedy Knights Of Badassdom seems to be going backwards. We had a full trailer from Comic-Con back in the summer (following a panel there in 2011), and now we're being presented with a new thirty-second teaser. Verily doth these marketing devils underestimate that which we hath spied hitherto. No matter: 'tis Peter Dinklage with a sword. Huzzah!

The film finds a group of friends (Dinklage, Steve Zahn, Summer Glau and Danny Pudi) roping a newbie pal Joe (True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten) into their latest Live Action Role Playing (LARPing) campaign in an attempt to help him forget his real-world troubles. But while he expects a lame weekend of foam swords and ridiculous blather, he ends up with real demon succubi, as Zahn’s cleric unwittingly conjures up some genuinely monstrous problems.

Director Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2) has compared it to a sort of Evil Dead meets The Goonies, while Kwanten has said it's Shaun Of The Dead meets Role Models. It's jolly silly: that's what it is. While it doesn't currently have a UK release date, we can probably expect it during 2014 following a planned spring release in the US.

RE: About bloody time.
Huh.... I could have sworn that this had been released already, then I never heard from it again as it flopped or something. *shrugs* But yeah... its been like at least 2 years since I first saw a trailer for this. More
