New Clip From Anchorman: The Legend Continues
Ron gets a job offer

You may already have seen the clips from Anchorman: The Legend Continues online that find Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd) and Champ Kind (David Koechner) already working at huge cable conglomerate news channel GNN. Now the scene where Ron finds out about the job opportunity has arrived via Yahoo.

Ron, used to being a towering titan of local San Diego news, has hit harder times in both his career and his marriage. So when a representative from GNN (Dylan Baker) reaches out to Ron to recruit him, you’d think he’d jump at the job. Our moustachioed alpha male, though, being a man thoroughly behind the times when it comes to modern ideas about… pretty much anything, initially scoffs. Until, that is, he’s shown what his first week’s salary would be.

So yes: the news team are reunited in front of the camera, Ron gets to dabble in lurve with a new girlfriend, and even Brick finds some measure of romance. Or whatever counts as romance in Brick’s mind.

The film, which also features Christina Applegate, Meagan Good, James Marsden, Harrison Ford, Kristen Wiig, Liam Neeson and Greg Kinnear, is out here on December 18. And don't forget that in the latest Empire, you can find our exlcusive, funny chat with the news team. Find it in print and on digital formats.
