First Look At Reader-Designed Machete Kills Steelbook
As designed by you and picked by Danny Trejo

They asked and you delivered. Danny Trejo and his friends at Lionsgate requested a design for the film's forthcoming steelbook release and Empire's talented forumites responded with designs that would have looked pretty darn good on goldbook, should such a thing exist, never mind the steely equivalent.

Congratulations, then, to tommypocket whose design was selected by Trejo - Razor Charlie, Johnny-23 and Tortugo himself - and will adorn the cover when it hits shelves early in 2013. Click below for a closer look.

Said Lionsgate: “Danny’s chosen winner is the fantastic entry by tommypocket who said himself "It's Machete, it's a steelbook... so let's see that METAL!" Machete agrees. As ever we were blown away by the standard of entries and thank everyone for their amazing work.” Here's Mr T with the goods.

Machete Kills arrives in this mighty format on February 17. Pre-order your copy now.
