It's a great weekend to be a cinemagoer in the UK. Two five-star films and Thor: The Dark World are showing at your local multiplex - assuming it can fit them all in - and this is the podcast to celebrate. This week we welcome Loki himself, Tom Hiddleston, Marvel masterminds Kevin Feige and Alan Taylor, as well as the beautifully bequiffed quitic Mark Kermode.

Elsewhere, you can look forward to trailer tantrums, London falling down and spaceships crashing to earth (in a manner of speaking). Also, more competitions, Viking impersonations and Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy references than you can shake a towel at.

P.S. You can check out our podcast photo gallery here and subscribe to the Empire Podcast via our iTunes page or this handy RSS feed. And don't forget to enter our Beyond: Two Souls competition!
