New Poster For Muppets Most Wanted
Taking the world by farce

With the loveable felt friends due back on our screens next year, Disney is looking to get the word out about Muppets Most Wanted. The new poster, which also features human folk Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell and Tina Fey, is online courtesy of Entertainment Weekly.

For this outing, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Fonzie, Gonzo, Walter, Animal and the rest of the gang are out and about on what they think is a legitimate showbiz world tour.

All, however, is not quite what it seems, and Kermit in particular has become caught up in the devious machinations of master criminal Constantine, who just so happens to look exactly like him, aside from a mole and the occasional habit of striking Dr. Evil-style poses. Our heroes will also have to face Constantine’s sidekick, Dominic (Gervais), driven Interpol agent Jean-Pierre Napoleon (Burrell) and a Russian prison guard (Fey). 

With James Bobin back directing and this time co-writing with The Muppets’ Nicholas Stoller, the film will also feature cameos from the likes of Danny Trejo, Tom Hiddleston, Salma Hayek  and Jemaine Clement. Muppets Most Wanted is out on March 28.

Actually looks horrifically bad... Will someone just burn the Muppets - they've never been funny, never endearing, just annoying and garish - I suppose they reflect what we accept as entertainment these days... More
