Sir Ben Kingsley Hints At Secret Marvel Project
Could his Iron Man 3 character live on...?

iron man 3

Sir Ben Kingsley has been doing the press rounds for Ender's Game, and considering the success of Iron Man 3 earlier in the year, some journalists have been asking about his amazing turn in the third standalone Tony Stark adventure. Speaking to The Belfast Telegraph, he even dropped a hint that The Mandarin may be back in a "secret Marvel project".

Of course, if you haven't seen Iron Man 3 already, you may want to avert your eyes, because if this "secret Marvel project" is what we think it is, then spoilers abound.

His quote in full: "It's a secret Marvel project. I'm not allowed to say any more, you're going to have to wait and see. I was with many members of the crew that were involved in Iron Man 3. It was lovely to see them again. It was great to be with this wonderful family."

This sounds like Trevor Slattery, the toast of Croydon, will be back back back - probably in a one-shot form, a la Peggy Carter in Agent Carter or Agent Coulson in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Thor's Hammer. Or, perhaps, this is the Trevor Slattery TV show we've all been waiting for, like Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., but with... King Lear. Or it could be something like Gervais and Merchant's Extras, only with more hammy stage actors and worrying ponytails.

Like the man said, it's a secret Marvel project, but it's fun to dream what this might be - let us know your thoughts in the comment box below, and remember that Ender's Game is out this Friday, October 25.

One Shot?
Sounds like this could be the next "One Shot", perhaps filling in on Trevor's history and how he was recruited by Killian I'd expect it to be on the Thor; The Dark World bluray or possibly The Winter Solider. More
