Charlie Hunnam Pulls Out Of Fifty Shades Of Grey
He has a clash, apparently...

And then there was one. It’s been a little over a month since the Fifty Shades Of Grey filmmaking team announced that Dakota Johnson and Sons Of Anarchy’s Charlie Hunnam would be taking the much buzzed-about roles of Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey in the adaption of E.L. James' bondage-stuffed first tome. Now, though, Hunnam has dropped out, citing scheduling issues.

In a strictly-worded announcement, the producers explained what happened: “The filmmakers of Fifty Shades Of Grey and Charlie Hunnam have agreed to find another male lead given Hunnam’s immersive TV schedule which is not allowing him time to adequately prepare for the role of Christian Grey.” Hhhm… So when everybody was busy making the deal and figuring this sort of thing out before he committed, no one took the time to check the dates? It sounds a little fishy to us, but we may have to wait to see if there was another reason – cold feet, maybe?

Johnson remains committed as Steele and the search will start for someone to take over, and to appear alongside her and Jennifer Ehle in the film, which Sam Taylor-Johnson is directing.

Who would you pick to replace the once and future Jax Teller in the role? Would you go for a total unknown or a name like Hunnam? Suggestions in the comments below and on The Twitters, please. Everyone play nice or we’ll get the whip out…
