By now, many of you will have watched the various Thor: The Dark World trailers (just in case, you can see one lurking at the bottom of this page). Now here comes a new TV spot which features chunks we’ve seen but also a few new snippets, including a longer look at Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) confronting Thor (Chris Hemsworth) about why he didn’t find her when he was on Earth with the Avengers and some extra battle scenes (flying cars! Just not the way we’d want them…) Take a look.

Thor: The Dark World finds Asgard’s favourite son battling an enemy who threatens Point Break’s realm. Oh, and ours. And several in between (Shingard? Is that one of them?). But this “new” problem isn’t new at all: he’s the Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), who is back from exile, angrier than a YouTube commenter and ready to do some damage.

Game Of Thrones veteran Alan Taylor called the shots on this one, with Stellan Skarsgard, Idris Elba, Anthony Hopkins, Zachary Levi, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings and Ray Stevenson all among the cast. Thor: The Dark World packs a punch at UK cinemas starting October 30.
