Trailer For James Corden's Paul Potts Biopic One Chance Lands
A.K.A. One Man, Two Lungs

Before Britain's Got Talent brought his operatic warblings into the nation's living rooms, Paul Potts was just a man with a dream. A dream of singing loudly, emotionally, and, ideally, professionally. Biopic One Chance is the story of just that, with James Corden playing the tremendous tenor as seen in the trailer below.

Joining the Gavin & Stacey, One Man, Two Guvnors and Lesbian Vampire Killers star are Julie Walters as Paul's mum, Colm Meaney as Paul's dad and Alexandra Roach as Paul's girlfriend, with Mackensie Crook playing Paul's best mate and fellow Carphone Warehouse employee. In the director's chair is David Frankel, who previously brought us Marley & Me, Hope Springs and The Devil Wears Prada

Encouragingly, it seems that Corden really can belt out a tune, which should please Into The Woods fans. No need to worry: looks like he will be up to scratch for his role as The Baker in Rob Marshall's upcoming adaptation of Stephen Sondheim's much-loved musical.

Syco Productions / The Weinstein Company's One Chance is out on October 25, 2013, and from the looks of things, it's going to make your mum cry, so bring some tissues like a good boy/girl (delete as appropriate).
