Exclusive Re-Release Trailer For A Nightmare On Elm Street
'Did you have any weird dreams last night?'

On a scale of one to ten, how scary has your Monday been so far? Whatever your score, never fear: we're about to make it scarier for you. The original and best A Nightmare On Elm Street is getting a one-night-only re-release this Halloween, and there's a new trailer to support it, which you can see below.

The classic horror sees the horribly burned, knife-gloved Freddy Krueger (Robert Englund) prey on teenagers in their dreams. And when you're killed in these dreams, you wake up dead! Cue caffeine overdoses and some of the scariest moments of the '80s.  Look out for the scene where a young up-and-comer called Johnny Depp faces off with the monstrous Krueger.

A Nightmare On Elm Street was directed by Wes Craven, and also starred Heather Langenkamp, Nick Corri, Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss, Joe Unger and Charles Fleischer. It will hit UK cinemas on October 31, for maximum spookiness.

They should've waited for the 20th anniversary next year when Halloween is on a weekend. You can tell from the lack of messages on this that nobody is interested in going to see an old movie they've seen countless times. More
