Glenn Powell Is The Latest Expendable
Newcomer joins the veterans

The flurry of late additions to The Expendables 3 continues this morning, but we can save you the bother of racking your brain to guess the latest aging action man. Latest into the cast is relative newcomer Glenn Powell. You may recognise him from such roles as Trader #1 in The Dark Knight Rises

Expendables 3 is a big break then, and will see Powell as an ace computer hacker (these youngsters understand all this newfangled technology), pilot and combat veteran. Given Liam Hemsworth's experience as the newbie in Expendables 2, you might surmise that Powell's fate is sealed, but surely the formula isn't quite so strict. And aren't they all essentially potential red-shirts? Isn't that the whole point of the Expendables in the first place? Sylvester Stallone, uncharateristically, has had nothing to say regarding Powell so far: his Twitter feed has been silent since the infamous "greedy and lazy" business.

As of now, The Expendables 3's roster reads: Stallone, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Jason Statham, Milla Jovovich, Wesley Snipes, Mickey Rourke, Kellan Lutz, Terry Crews, Dolph Lundgren, Victor Ortiz and Ronda Rousey. Patrick Hughes will be rolling the cameras any time now, for a release next August.
