Latest Ender's Game Trailer Blasts Off

Though the release date isn’t until October here, Summit has released what it is labelling the “final” trailer for sci-fi adventure Ender’s Game. You can take a gander over at Apple’s site.

Ender’s Game is set on a future Earth that was nearly destroyed by an invading insectoid alien race called the Formics (or, to give them the book's slang term, the "Buggers”). Knowing that the hostile creatures plan to return and finish the job, the military starts drafting the best and brightest kids for a Battle School to find commanders who can rival Mazer Rackham (Ben Kingsley), the man who saved Earth last time.

Among those swallowed up by the new effort is Ender Wiggin (Asa Butterfield), who shows a true genius for tactical thinking. Soon, Rackham and Colonel Hyrum Graff (Harrison Ford) decide he’s our latest last, best hope for survival. But at what cost to Ender, his family and friends?

With Viola Davis, Hailee Steinfeld, Abigail Breslin, Nonso Anozie and Moises Arias in the cast and Gavin Hood directing, Ender’s Game is set to arrive here on October 25, ahead of a November 1 release in the States. That trailer needs a spoiler warning
Below there be spoilers OK so I have read the book, and now I have seen the trailer now I know that they need to make the trailer exciting but to actually show the climax is insane. People who have not read the book will go into the film after seeing this trailer and sit through 1hr 10 mins of Ender training and doing very little they know is coming from the trailer. More
