Red-Band 2 Guns Trailer Shoots In
Wahlberg! Washington! Weaponry!

30 July 2013  |  Written by James White  |  Source: IGN

With the first trailer blasting away any notion that the film would be a simple action thriller, now the second, red band promo for Mark Wahlberg/Denzel Washington pic 2 Guns gets to unload more of the foul-mouthed buddy comedy. Check it out below, though be warned that some of it might be NSFW.

In it, we meet Marcus “Stig” Stigman (Wahlberg) and Robert “Bobby” Trench (Washington), who appear to be your basic mob enforcers working for crooked bosses.

But when they team up to rip-off a bank, they discover that nothing is quite what it seems. For one thing, Stig is Special Forces, while Bobby is undercover DEA, and the money they took has some very dangerous people down on their heads.

Forced to work together – an idea that Stig embraces long before Bobby – they’ll have to avoid their own colleagues and the criminals they were investigating if they’re going to discover the truth and, more importantly, survive.

Edward James Olmos (so say we all!), James Marsden, Paula Patton and Bill Paxton are also in this one, which we’re hoping could be a lot of fun. With Contraband’s Baltasar Kormakur calling the shots, 2 Guns hits the US on August 2 and heads here on August 16.
