John Lithgow Set For Interstellar
Chris Nolan will send him to another dimension

With a healthy cast already gathered, you might be led to believe that Chris Nolan had already found everyone he needs for his next film, Interstellar. But you would be wrong! Just yesterday we reported on Ellen Burstyn, Mackenzie Foy and Timothée Chalamet in talks to sign on, now John Lithgow appears to be completing the line up.

We say “appears” because there’s always a chance more people will leap aboard before the film’s production launches, and, given how things work on movies these days, and even during.

Nolan is working up the film based on a script he adapted from one younger bro Jonah wrote back when the project was in Steven Spielberg’s sights. Though the major details are being kept secret, we do know the plot finds a heroic group travelling through a wormhole into another dimension.

Currently, the cast roster is bulging with good choices including Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Bill Irwin and Nolan regular/probable lucky charm Michael Caine. Interstellar is set to emerge in our cinematic space on November 7 next year.

The Cast Is OUTSTANDING, and I like Hathaway
It comes down to the script, and if the role is right for Hathaway, then that's fine by me. I love how Nolan is assembling the cast - a combination of recent stars, newcomers and screen veterans. This is already one of the top ten films of next year I'm really looking forward to. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that INTERSTELLAR will be what Nolan's other sci-fi film, INCEPTION (2010) was - an ambitious yet worthy effort from the filmmaker. More

Wow!
McConaughey, Chastain, Affleck and now Lithgow? Some of my favourite actors of recent years showing up and a couple of great veterans. Hope this plays out well. The only bit of casting I'm unsure about is Hathaway, but she could prove me wrong with this material...her Catwoman wasn't bad. More

Yes, but......
Yes, I know. But it's amazing that Empire still don't put any mention of him in the story More

Good news, everyone!
I like Lithgow. He's in far too little movies these days. Great news, indeed! More
