UK Trailer For Lovelace Arrives
Amanda Seyfried is X-rated

The latest poster for Lovelace arrived last week, and now here’s the full UK trailer for the biopic, which finds Amanda Seyfried as Linda Boreman, the woman who would become famous – and infamous – for her porn career under the name Linda Lovelace.

Lovelace charts Boreman’s rise and ultimate fall, from her early meetings with eventual husband Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard), to her lusty dive into the world of X-rated cinema with Deep Throat and the problems that followed.

While the trailer initially plays up some fun elements, including the slightly goofy porn crew, the film – from Howl directing team Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman – also chronicles the abuse Boreman suffered at the hands of Traynor in particular and the tough choices she had to make. Outwardly, she seemed to be the poster girl for women's independence, but her personal life was much more complicated.

With Juno Temple, Chris Noth, Adam Brody, Robert Patrick, Sharon Stone, Hank Azaria and Wes Bentley also in the cast, Lovelace is out on August 23. It might not be one to take your parents to see.
