Latest Machete Kills Poster Arrives
Introducing Carlos Estevez

The trailer at the end of May seemed to have concluded the barrage of stills, posters and general promotional flim-flam for Robert Rodriguez' upcoming Machete Kills. But no! With a "HAIL to the CHIEF!" from Rod himself, we're off and running again, with another character banner for the collection. Who is the mysterious "Carlos Estevez"?

Yes, it's Charlie Sheen - you spotted that, right? - tooled up and giving us his war face. Whether it's the war face from Platoon or the war face from Hot Shots Part Deux remains to be seen, but we know which one our money's on.

Sheen, as you'll also have gathered, plays the US president who employs Danny Trejo's ex-Federale merc to trail the deadly Voz: a crazed, arms-dealing revolutionary who's planning to send a weapon into space.

Mel Gibson is Voz, and he, Sheen and Trejo are joined by Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Rod’s nieces-in-law Electra and Elise Avellan, Sofia Vergara (in a fully-automatic bra), Amber Heard, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding Jr, Marko Zuror, William Sadler, Lady Gaga, Demian Bichir, Alexa Vega and Antonio Banderas.

Machete Kills is out in the States on October 4, but we don't have a date in the UK yet.

I reckon it'll be Charlie Sheen the coked up megalomaniac from TV's 2 Borderline Rapists & The Chunkster Kid. More

Hope it's better than the first movie...
...which had a totally awesome red band trailer but which was followed by a "meh" movie. More
