Arnold Schwarzenegger Meets Maggie
He'll be the dad of a zombie-infected daughter...

Arnold Schwarzenegger

Once upon a time, the announcement that Arnold Schwarzenegger was attached to star in a zombie film would conjure up visions of the Austrian Oak wading through swarms of the undead, chopping away with blades and putting bullets into flesh-craving noggins. But Black List script Maggie promises to be something altogether more low-key.

While there may indeed be moments where the former Governator lops off zomboid heads, the focus is a more sombre tale of a father dealing with the fact that his daughter has been bitten and is slowly transforming into one of the walking dead.

Henry Hobson is moving from ads to make his feature debut for the movie, which was written by John Scott 3. Could this be Schwarzenegger looking to prove his acting chops in the midst of a somewhat mixed career return? He’s already tried action with The Expendables 2 and The Last Stand and has David Ayer’s Sabotage set for release next year, with plans to revisit both the Terminator franchise and comedy Twins. We’re not sure smaller performances have ever been Arnie’s forte, but Maggie could certainly be something interesting…

I'll Be Back From The Dead
These "Black List" scripts that everyone in Hollywood raves about never seem to translate into great films for some reason. I'm always wary when I hear that reference. I'd rather see Schwarzenegger get medieval on some zombie ass. Arnie lacked his old wise-cracking charisma in The Last Stand and looked jaded and bored. Must do better. More

Ugh. Arnie trying to act instead of just beating people to a pulp? No thanks More
