Dialogue-Free Diana Trailer Hits The Web
Naomi Watts plays the people's princess

History suggests that this country cares deeply about Princess Diana, so the release of Oliver Hirschbiegel's biopic Diana should be one eagerly anticipated by, well, your mum. And possibly yourself. Naomi Watts stars in the film, and you can see her - but not hear her - in action below.

The film focuses on the last two years of Diana's life, looking at her relationships with surgeon Dr Hasnat Khan (Naveen Andrews) and Dodi Fayed (Cas Anvar). That's about all we know at present, but the script comes from playwright Stephen Jeffreys, who wrote The Libertine among other things. From the looks of this trailer, they've certainly nailed Diana's hair and wardrobe.

Diana hits cinemas on September 5 this year, just in time for awards season. We're not sure that's a coincidence.
