Liam Hemsworth's got espionage on his mind

What happens when a lucky break turns into a nightmare world of corporate espionage, double crossing and Gary Oldman shouting at you? Liam Hemsworth is finding out in Paranoia, which has just put its new trailer online. 

Paranoia sees the two most powerful tech billionaires in the world (played by Oldman and Harrison Ford) as bitter rivals with a complicated past who will stop at nothing to destroy each other – think a more calculating Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, or, if you prefer to go bang up to date, Tim Cook and Samsung's Kwon Oh-Hyun.

A young superstar named Adam Cassidy (Hemsworth), seduced by unlimited wealth and power falls between them, and becomes trapped in the middle of the twists and turns of their life-and-death game of corporate espionage. By the time he realises his life is in danger, he is in far too deep and knows far too much for them to let him walk away.

Hemsworth tells Yahoo Movies that it was a little intimidating working with the two heavyweights, but that they were both welcoming. "He's just a very easy person to work with," he says of Ford. "He would come on set and start feeling around before his scenes... It’s nice to see someone like that, who's done so many films and still cares about every single little thing in every scene. He's very particular about things in the best way possible. And he was also very accommodating to me."

As for Oldman? "My character, a lot of the time, was pretty nervous around his character. I think it's being able to use that in the scene and not get too frightened by it." For more from Hemsworth, head to Yahoo’s site.

With Robert Luketic calling the shots, Paranoia will hit the US on August 16, but doesn’t have a UK release set yet.

hmmmm...
Oldman's accent sounds a bit Paul Whitehouse does Michael Caine but this looks ok. Ford's hair is... short - but it's still Harrison Ford so I'm in. And is that the over-looked and under-used Richard 'I pulled a tooth the size of a shot glass' Dreyfuss playing Hemsworth's dad? More
